Using RSLogix 3-Part Series

This three-part training series will help students grasp the fundamentals of the Rockwell Software program, RSLogix™. The series is designed specifically to provide a working knowledge of the Windows-based software RSLogix 5, for the PLC 5 processor family, RSLogix 500, for the SLC processor family, and the communications package RSLinx. It will familiarize students with setting up software drivers, logging onto networks, uploading and downloading projects, searching, documentation, histograms and trending, forcing, and editing basic programs.

The RSLogix™ series is designed for maintenance technicians, electricians or design engineers who understand DOS-based programming and documenting software such as Allen Bradley 6200, Advanced Programming Software or AI Software. However, all the terms used in the courses are defined or explained, so students are not required to have an extensive technical vocabulary to understand the content.
