COVID-19 "Back to Work Training Program" developed by Global Training Centers, LLC. in collaboration with DuPont Sustainable Solutions
Teaches science-based safety and hygiene best practices, essential as economy reopens and cases
August 11, 2020
Virginia Beach, August 11, 2020 – In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, President of Global Training Centers, LLC. (GTC) and Master Trainer, Michael Haynie has innovated a bilingual science based virtual training platform that will guide organizations, corporations and municipalities on back to work procedures based on CDC and FDA guidelines. The program is facilitated by a group of experts in the scientific and medical fields and can be adapted to the daily evolving science and knowledge of COVID-19. The training modules are designed to help protect employees and customers as the economy reopens and as infections spike across the country.
Emphasizing standards of excellence and quality, the GTC program offers an opportunity for employers to provide direct support and leadership to the returning COVID-19 impacted workforce throughout the country. The training program – geared towards line level employees across all levels – educates, recommends, and maintains customer-focused standards that enhance the customer experience while keeping the employees healthy and safe at work. The program is bilingual and delivered virtually to allow for training flexibility.
GTC, parent company to numerous nationwide training companies, collaborated with DuPont Sustainable Solutions (DSS) to produce this program. It is applicable to all business verticals such as manufacturing, education, healthcare, law enforcement, hospitality, retail, restaurants, tourism and will consist of several training programs including: How to gradually return Back to Work, Preventing Spread of COVID-19, and Safe Work Practices & Emergency Communication Plans. The employee must attend the approximately sixty-minute online training and will receive a certificate of attendance. By completing the training, employees will benefit from enhanced customer and employee safety, improved hygiene, and safe service delivery in addition to being armed with first-hand factual knowledge to pass on to friends and family in their communities.
"This training platform can help save businesses impacted during the pandemic as well as secure the financial future of economies. Employers have a responsibility to educate their employees and not just take their temperature and hand them a mask and gloves. Our goal is to establish a platform of education and awareness for employers that require public interaction and service" says GTC President Michael Haynie. "My personal commitment is to restructure the mindset of businesses to operate efficiently and effectively moving forward in an ever-changing world."
"We were pleased to collaborate with GTC on the COVID-19 return to work virtual training platform, which will help organizations continue operations while ensuring the health and safety of their employees, customers and visitors" says Alyson Brandt, Managing Director, Global Learning & Development at DuPont Sustainable Solutions. "These unprecedented times strengthen our commitment to helping clients protect their people and improve operations through customized and impactful learning solutions."
Appointed to Governor Larry Hogan's Reopen Maryland Task force with other business leaders and by Mayor Jack Young to the Baltimore City Restaurant recovery task force, Baltimore native Michael Haynie is a well-known and proven leader in the Hospitality and Tourism Industry.
