Machinery Oil Analysis 3-Part Series

This three-part training series will help students understand the fundamentals of machinery oil analysis. The series is designed to familiarize students with the important properties and functions of machinery lubricants, the important oil-related failure modes and their indicators, the common tests and data interpretation techniques used to determine oil and machine condition, and the application of oil analysis in a Condition-Based Maintenance (CBM) or Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) program.

The Machinery Oil Analysis series is designed for maintenance technicians or anyone involved in a Condition-Based Maintenance or Reliability-Centered Maintenance program. It does not assume any previous knowledge of oil analysis. All the terms used are defined or explained throughout the course, so students are not required to have a technical vocabulary to understand the content.
