Fieldbus: The Road to Fieldbus is part two of the Fieldbus Process Control 14-part training series.

The course explains the history of fieldbus instrumentation — beginning with instrument signal history and leading to fieldbus, the benefits of fieldbus systems, and the costs and roadblocks involved with fieldbus. It also introduces the various fieldbus protocols then compares and contrasts their features and uses.

Course objectives include:
